Leora Sheily, DDS, is the comprehensive dentist who leads the team at The Melrose Dentist, located in the East Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, and serving patients in the nearby Melrose Hill, Beverly Hills, and West Hollywood areas. She is a cosmetic and restorative dentist performing treatments encompassing all disciplines of dentistry, with a special focus in the field of cosmetic and implant dentistry. She ensures each individual treatment plan is designed in a way to best benefit the health of the patient while at the same time meeting their dental needs and cosmetic goals. Dr. Sheily is available 24-hours for dental emergencies.
Dr. Sheily received her Bachelor of Science in Physiological Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Sheily is number one when it comes to communication. She does a great job explaining treatment needs in great detail. Some of the procedures Dr. Sheily specializes in are composite bondings, veneers, crowns, implants, Invisalign®, and complete smile makeovers. Her clinical approach is tailored to each individual patient, with the patient’s needs and expectations dictating the path to a smile of confidence.
When away from dentistry, Dr. Sheily loves to spend time with her two shelties, Montie and Kidd, do high-intensity interval training workouts, and catch up with her family and friends.
Dr. Menachem Oren, DMD, is a highly skilled periodontal specialist focusing on advanced periodontal care and plastic surgery techniques. He leads a dedicated team providing comprehensive periodontal treatments to patients in the greater Los Angeles area. Dr. Oren specializes in addressing both the health and aesthetic aspects of gum tissue, offering procedures such as gum grafting, crown lengthening, and soft tissue regeneration. His expertise also includes treatments for gum disease, dental implants, and complex periodontal surgeries aimed at restoring both function and beauty to patients’ smiles.
Dr. Oren earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from a prestigious dental school, and his extensive training in periodontics has shaped his exceptional skills in periodontal plastic surgery. He is committed to providing each patient with a tailored treatment plan that focuses on their specific needs and goals, ensuring optimal results.
In addition to his professional work, Dr. Oren is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in periodontal care and surgical techniques. He is dedicated to offering compassionate care and helping patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Oren enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and participating in various outdoor activities.
Fujon N. Anayati, RDH, BSDH is a native Los Angeles dental hygienist. Fujon received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of University of Southern California (USC). Within her academic career, Fujon became involved with community outreach programs such AYUDA International Programs and teaches 2nd year DDS students at Ostrow for their Periodontal Instrumentation course. She is quick to build relationships with patients and has a high-quality value for her patient’s comfort and care. Fujon is familiar in all fields of patient populations such as Geriatrics, Pediatrics, and medically compromised patients. With her fun and uplifting personality, she also specializes in patients who have anxiety and/or are fearful of visiting the dental practice. Being an expert in Preventative Dentistry, Fujon helps build and create personalized dental hygiene routines for her patients to achieve optimal oral health and patient esthetic goals.
Aside from dentistry, Fujon has a past degree in culinary arts and spends her time cooking at home with her canine sous-chef, Felfeli. She also enjoys playing video games, going to maze rooms, and visiting amusement parks with her friends and family.
